Who You Are
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized bilingual Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing firm. This role is office-based in Edmonton, AB, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will be the backbone of our administrative team, ensuring smooth office operations and excellent client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communications: Answer phones and respond to client inquiries professionally.
- Scheduling: Schedule and manage appointments for clients and staff.
- Financial Processing: Receive client payments, prepare deposits, and manage bank deposits.
- Tax File Management: Manage personal tax client files, including opening files, preparing documents, and drafting administrative letters.
- Engagement Packages: Prepare, assemble, and mail out engagement closing packages to clients.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the client database for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both French and English is essential. Must be fluent in speaking and writing in both languages.
- Business Administrative diploma or degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting and HR software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Clear communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the Francophone community is an asset.
Benefits and Compensation Highlights
- $60,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
