One of the Mississauga's premier banquet and event venues, hosting weddings, corporate functions, galas, fundraisers, and social events. We are seeking professional, energetic, and customer-focused Banquet Servers to join our team.
Job Summary
Banquet Servers are responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service while ensuring guests enjoy an outstanding event experience. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Prepare tables, linens, place settings, and service stations
- Serve plated meals, family-style meals, and buffets
- Serve beverages and wine service as directed
- Clear and reset tables throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms and service areas
- Assist with room teardown and post-event cleanup
- Respond professionally to guest requests
- Follow food safety and service standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and event staff
Qualifications
- Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
- Must speak and understand English well
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Strong teamwork skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Smart Serve certification considered an asset
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have at least 1 year experience in the banquet hall industry.
