Responsibilities
- Cutting bending and installing small and large Emt conduit.
- Pull wire through conduits and cable trays.
- Install wire-cables to all panels and electrical equipment.
- Perform ON/OFF check procedures, power and communication testing.
- Guarantee the proper labeling of all electrical wire pulls
- Be responsible for training Apprentices
Skills
- Capable of bending EMT conduit,PVC conduit and building raceways.
- Capable of pulling cable for power, low voltage, Cat5/6.
- Termination testing and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Capable of reading and understanding: Electrical drawings, cable runs, electrical schematics.
- Capable of completing service calls in an industrial machinery environment.
- Excellent English language skills.
Job Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with Canadian Electrical Code
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
