Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation are highly valued and will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics process.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, including long-haul or regional routes
- 1 year experience (preffered)
- Eligible to drive to U.S.A
- Canadian Citizen or Pr
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients
