Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management regarding security concerns
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate
- Operating a gold cart, obeying speed limits
Skills
- Prior experience or background in law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to detect unusual activity quickly
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure during emergencies or incidents
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Excellent writing skills
- Must have a Security License and Drivers License

(Shifts are Sundays through to Thursdays 8pm to 2am. Must have your own vehicle.)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
