Dirty Laundry Winery is looking for a Student Accounting Clerk to join our team for the summer. This is a great opportunity for a university or college student interested in gaining hands-on experience in accounting, finance, and business operations within a busy winery environment.
The Student Accounting Clerk will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, including daily revenue postings, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Post daily sales and revenue transactions
- Reconcile daily cash, debit, credit card, and other payment activity
- Assist with cash management and tip tracking processes
- Support accounts receivable tasks
- Assist with accounts payable tasks
- Help with inventory functions, including reconciliations, counts, and system updates
- Assist with month-end preparation and general administrative accounting tasks
- Maintain organized records and supporting documentation
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a university or college program in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and learning accounting software
- Organized and able to manage recurring daily tasks
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Previous office, accounting, or administrative experience is an asset but not required
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
