Position Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying client needs, recommending appropriate solutions, preparing estimates, and guiding projects through the entire sales cycle. This hybrid role combines in-showroom sales and on-the-road client visits across the GTA. It requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate window treatment solutions
- Conduct on-site client consultations across the GTA
- Travel between showroom and client locations as required
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and invoices for clients
- Promote the full range of Shadings products and services
- Follow up with clients throughout the sales process and project lifecycle
- Place and monitor orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction from initial contact through project completion
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and business partners
- Identify and solicit new prospects and conduct the necessary follow-ups to close sales
- Maintain accurate records and manage opportunities within the CRM system
- Review project drawings and blueprints when applicable to support accurate specifications and estimates
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction, renovation, or a related industry
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- This role requires daily driving across the GTA. A valid driver’s license and consistent access to a personal vehicle are mandatory conditions of employment.
- Ability to read blueprints or construction plans (an asset)
- Experience in construction, renovation, or building systems (an asset)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $52,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
