Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a full-time Driver/Warehouse Worker. This is a true dual role position, with approximately 50% of the work involving driving and 50% involving a variety of warehouse responsibilities, including frequent forklift operation. This can change from day to day.
This position involves delivering and picking up products throughout the Edmonton and surrounding area, assisting with shipping and receiving, and performing general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, safety-conscious and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver and pick up products using company vehicles.
- Load and unload materials and products.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Stock and organize inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse.
- Complete delivery and inventory documentation accurately.
- Follow all company safety procedures and driving regulations.
- Participate in safety training and promote a safety-conscious workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (current drivers abstract required at time of interview)
- Forklift experience is mandatory.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects throughout the day.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse and transportation safety practices is an asset.
Relevant Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to driving and warehouse operations.
