Job Summary
The Human IT Company is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician with a strong customer-service mindset to support our managed services clients in the Greater Vancouver area.
This is a hands-on support role for someone with 2+ years of verifiable full-time IT support experience, ideally in a multi-site or MSP environment. The work is fast-paced, varied, and people-focused. You’ll be supporting real clients with real problems, both remotely and on-site.
This role is primarily front-line support and ticket-based work, not a project or engineering role. This role is ideal for someone with strong front-line troubleshooting skills who wants to grow into deeper technical responsibility over time.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for clients via remote tools and on-site visits
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows workstation, user, Microsoft 365, and basic network issues
- Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely, professional manner
- Support Microsoft 365 environments including users, mailboxes, devices, and basic administration
- Accurately document work performed, resolutions, and client environments within our ticketing system
- Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with senior team members when required
- Communicate clearly with non-technical users, translating technical issues into plain language
- Maintain a calm, respectful approach in time-sensitive or stressful situations
- Manage tickets, follow process, and maintain momentum without constant supervision
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of professional IT support experience (verifiable)
- Previous experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment strongly preferred
- Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 support experience
- Solid troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, printers, and networking fundamentals including DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity, and switching
- Experience working with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable troubleshooting unfamiliar issues and working toward solutions before escalating
Personal Qualities
- Calm, patient, and respectful with end users
- Comfortable managing multiple issues and shifting priorities
- Confident working directly with clients in professional environments
- Takes ownership of problems and follows through to resolution
- Understands that customer service is as important as technical skill
- Curious, resourceful, and willing to investigate problems before escalating
- Comfortable working through incomplete information and unclear situations
What We Offer
- Exposure to a wide variety of technologies, environments, and real-world troubleshooting situations
- Opportunities to grow into deeper technical responsibilities over time
- A supportive team environment where questions are encouraged and learning is part of the job
- Paid training and certification support for relevant technologies
- Extended health and dental benefits after probationary period
- A professional, respectful workplace that values communication, accountability, and initiative
