Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Pump Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire pump systems, diesel engines, and will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of various types of fire pumps. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Pump Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
Duties
- Maintain, and repair various types of fire pumps and diesel engines in accordance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of pump systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pump performance and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities and report any significant findings or recommendations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding pump operation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Pump Technician or in a similar role within the industry.
- Strong understanding of pump systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with system design is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Clean driver's abstract.
