Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gravel Crushing Operator to join our team in Northern Saskatchewan. This shift-work position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on aggregate production and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery operation, maintenance, and safety protocols, contributing to efficient crushing operations and site management. Candidates should be comfortable working in outdoor conditions and capable of performing physically demanding tasks with precision and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor gravel crushing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery, including troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise.
- Assist with the setup, assembly, and calibration of crushing equipment and related machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools for repairs and adjustments.
- Manage material flow within the crushing plant, including loading, unloading, and stockpiling aggregates.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other construction machinery to support site logistics.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within construction, or quarry environments.
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience operating construction equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy machinery and aggregate processing plants.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor settings under shift-work schedules.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
