Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a Journeyperson Plumber for work in Fort Saskatchewan, AB:
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Schedule Rotation: Monday - Thursday, 10-hour days
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Base hourly rate is $48.82 + 10% Holiday/Stat Pay paid out weekly
- Position starts on site August 24, 2026
- Duration of 1 year plus
What You Will Be Working On
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of wash car trailers, including pumps, hoses, water supply, and drainage systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial plumbing and piping systems during turnaround activities.
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, fitting, and assembly according to drawings, specifications, and site standards.
- Remove, inspect, repair, and replace valves, flanges, gaskets, hoses, and other system components.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on process water, steam, and utility systems to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform pressure testing, leak checks, and system integrity verifications
- Follow all safety requirements including permits, hazard assessments, confined space procedures, and PPE expectations.
- Scope includes support to TA Shutdowns for the above tasks with overtime available on weekly 6 X 10 hour days when available
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Journeyperson Certificate
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- Must have valid Class 5 drivers license to operate company vehicles on site.
- Must have personnel transportation to site.
