Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-time Server to join our Omakase Japanese restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to food handling and sanitation protocols
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while ensuring quality service
- Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent guest services
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for accurate order entry and cash handling
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
- Familiarity with food industry standards and hospitality practices
- Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $18.25-$23.14 per hour
