JIC School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Elementary School Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year (September 2026 to June 2027).

Key Responsibilities
- Teach elementary students using the Ontario Curriculum.
- Create engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Teach Islamic Studies and the Quran with proper Tajweed.
- Assess student learning and maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievement and development.
- Encourage strong relationships between families, the classroom, and the school community.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
- Canadian teaching experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum.
- Knowledge of Islam and the ability to teach the Quran with proper Tajweed.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for inspiring students and supporting their academic, social, and spiritual growth.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated educational team.
