Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to cover a maternity leave which can become a permanent position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment. Duties
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately using Cleardent
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist with patient education on treatment plans and post-procedure care
- Take dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of all dental instruments and operatories
- Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring a smooth clinic operation and excellent customer service
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Experience with Cleardent or similar dental software preferred
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
