Position Overview:
Do you love meeting new people and sharing great food? Viva-Deli is seeking an outgoing and dependable Product Demonstrator to represent our brand at in-store demos and promotional events.
In this role, you’ll be the first impression of Viva-Deli by engaging customers, offering samples, and helping shoppers discover our products. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, personable, and takes pride in delivering a professional and memorable customer experience.
This is a part-time position that requires flexibility to travel to various retail locations throughout Alberta. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel to and from demo locations.
FoodSafe Certification will be provided at your start date, along with full training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and take down demo stations at retail locations
- Prepare and sample products in accordance with food safety standards
- Engage customers in a friendly and confident manner while sharing product knowledge and addressing customer questions
- Encourage product awareness and sales through positive interaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional demo area
- Track product usage and customer feedback as required
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Previous customer service, retail, or promotional experience is an asset (but not required)
- Must have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as demo schedules vary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to complete FoodSafe Certification (provided by employer)
