Moosehead Security Inc. is hiring reliable and professional Security Guards to join our team in Calgary. This position is suitable for individuals who are new to the security industry or have limited experience. We provide guidance and support to help new guards succeed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide professional security services at assigned locations.
- Monitor the property and ensure a safe environment.
- Conduct regular patrols and complete required reports.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents.
- Assist clients, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Follow site-specific post orders and company policies.
- Respond to incidents according to training and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Complete accurate shift reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Security Guard Licence (or willing to obtain one).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
- Ability to work independently.
- No previous security experience required; training will be provided.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be able to complete required background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or security experience is an asset.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
