Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, specifically in bodywork. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform body repairs, including welding, sanding, and painting.
- Replace or repair damaged parts such as doors, fenders, and bumpers.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts and equipment safely.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while working on vehicles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with auto body repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
