Paddy Wagon is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Server/Cashier to join our team. We're passionate about serving great food and creating an exceptional experience for every guest. As a Server/Cashier, you'll be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, preparing food and beverages, processing payments, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable guest experience.
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, as this position involves the service of alcoholic beverages.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately using our POS system.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Prepare food and beverages while following all food safety and quality standards.
- Serve food promptly and ensure every order meets our quality expectations.
- Recommend menu items, beverages, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room, front counter, and workstations.
- Follow all sanitation, food handling, and workplace safety procedures.
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to provide efficient service.
- Assist with training new team members when required.
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively during busy periods.
- Basic cash handling and math skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Food Safe Certification and Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification are considered assets (or willingness to obtain them if required).
