Job Title: Industrial Cleaner / Sanitation Worker
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Morning Shift
Pay Rate: $17.60/hr
Job Overview
We are currently hiring a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner / Sanitation Worker. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following all safety and GMP guidelines.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Clean offices by dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and washing walls and windows
- Remove garbage and recycling from designated areas
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, and change rooms
- Replenish supplies including soap, paper towels, hand cream, and other materials
- Clean warehouse floors, shelves, walls, and remove forklift tire marks where required
- Maintain cleanliness in GMP areas, including production and packaging areas
- Wash walls, stairs, ceilings, and floors as per company standards
- Clean pails, drums, and other required equipment
- Clean cafeteria areas, including food preparation areas, freezers, coolers, and storage spaces
- Maintain coffee brewers and remove garbage and recycling materials as needed
- Clean laboratory areas and replenish supplies
- Operate cleaning equipment including floor cleaners, vacuums, and floor scrubbing machines
- Use approved cleaning agents and follow proper cleaning procedures
- Dispose of garbage following company guidelines
- Ensure all work is completed according to GMP, cGMP, SOPs, workplace safety standards, and established procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily cleaning requirements

- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma / Grade 12 education
- Previous cleaning or sanitation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual cleaning tasks
- Good command of English (ability to read, write, and understand)
- Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Work Location: On the road
