Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting workers to various destinations. Another aspect of your work is to deliver goods to clients, this may involve picking up goods at other locations and ensuring the safe delivery of these items. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and workers to various sites
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical integrity of the vehicle through regular inspections and basic troubleshooting knowledge
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate schedules and provide updates
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation experiences
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs
- Provide friendly customer service by addressing clients questions and ensuring a positive experience
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving preferred
- Experience working independently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and team members
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting
- Strong customer service orientation with a caring attitude towards clients' needs
- Bilingual skills in French and English are preferred to serve a diverse community effectively
- Teaching or writing skills are beneficial for training new team members or documenting procedures
