Daycare Supervisor – Montessori Child Care Centre

We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of a new Montessori-based child care centre and are looking for a passionate, energetic, and experienced Daycare Supervisor to join our team during the final setup and launch phase.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys building programs, mentoring educators, connecting with families, and helping create a warm and inspiring learning environment from the ground up.
About the Role
The Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the successful opening and day-to-day operations of the centre. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, organized, proactive, enthusiastic, and confident in both leadership and parent communication.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the child care centre in compliance with licensing requirements and regulations
- Support the setup and opening of the new centre prior to launch
- Help in appointment, Lead, mentor, and support classroom educators and staff
- Maintain strong relationships with families and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure implementation of a high-quality Montessori-inspired learning environment
- Manage enrolment inquiries, tours, and parent communication
- Maintain compliances, documentation, policies, and licensing standards
- Plan staff schedules and support smooth day-to-day operations
- Assist with centre marketing, social media presence, and community engagement
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed child care/daycare supervisor in Ontario
- RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (preferred/required if applicable)
- Strong knowledge of CCEYA, Ministry licensing requirements, and child care regulations
- Experience leading teams and managing centre operations
- Passion for Montessori and child-led learning approaches
- Energetic, positive, and professional personality
- Comfortable using social media platforms for marketing and parent engagement
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
