Overview
We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing installation and repair, with a focus on flat roofing systems. This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in construction, carpentry, and handyman tasks is highly valued. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and trowels to complete roofing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofs
- Assist with general construction tasks related to roofing projects, including framing and carpentry work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction
- Strong background in construction, carpentry, or handyman work
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking, sealing, and waterproofing techniques
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights on flat roofs
