Quality Assurance Specialist
Our client, a dynamic organization in the food production sector, is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their busy production team in Concord, ON. This role is critical in ensuring that products meet strict safety and quality standards while supporting ongoing compliance and process improvements. The position offers a temporary or full-time opportunity, with a standard workweek of 40 hours and potential for additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities
- Verify product specifications to ensure they meet regulatory and company standards.
- Conduct and follow up on scoring programs to assess quality performance.
- Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance on the production floor.
- Assist in investigating quality issues and non-conformances to identify root causes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance with food safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications
- A diploma in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, other related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with GMP, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
