The Receptionist and Sales Administrator is an important front-line role at INGERSOLL Chevrolet Buick GMC. This position is often the first point of contact for customers, both in person and over the phone, and plays a key role in creating a warm, professional, and organized dealership experience.
The successful candidate will have experience and must be friendly, reliable, organized, accurate, and comfortable supporting customers, sales staff, management, and accounting-related processes as required.

Job Duties Include:

Reception, Customer Experience & Showroom Hosting

Maintain awareness of showroom activity and help ensure customers are not left unattended

Support a positive first impression of the dealership through professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail

Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and presentable customer-facing areas
-
Assist with vehicle file preparation, document tracking, and internal follow-up
-
Assist with updating vehicle status and deal information in dealership systems as required

Coordinate or support driver arrangements for vehicle pick-ups, deliveries, and dealer trades when needed

Support the Sales Manager, sales team, and accounting team with administrative items and follow-up

Assist with daily filing, scanning, document organization, and recordkeeping
-
Prepare or organize licensing receipts, vehicle invoices, and other documentation as required

Assist with incoming and outgoing mail

Maintain logs, lists, and records as required by management
-
Assist with other dealership administrative duties as needed

Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, employee, financial, and dealership information

Work cooperatively with sales, service, management, and accounting staff

Complete additional duties as assigned by management
Successful Candidates Possess:
-
1-2 years of customer service
-
1 year of administrative experience in an Automotive dealership is considered an asset

Exceptional Computer skills and understanding of technology

Excellent listening skills with solid attention to detail and the ability to problem solve

Proven success in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to work in a team, with strong interpersonal skills and an upbeat, engaging attitude
