Mexhico is looking for dedicated, hardworking, and organized kitchen professionals to join our growing team. We are currently hiring Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Kitchen Supervisors for both our restaurant Mexhico and La taqueria operations.
Our kitchen focuses on Mexican-inspired cuisine with fresh ingredients, high-volume service, brunch operations, and strong teamwork. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and execution.
Responsibilities
Prepare and organize mise en place for daily service
Cook and plate menu items according to restaurant standards and recipes
Work various stations including grill, sauté, fryer, garde manger, brunch, and taqueria service
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service
Assist with prep production including sauces, proteins, salsas, stocks, and vegetables
Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures at all times
Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service
Help maintain consistency, portion control, and quality standards
Support team operations during busy periods and large-volume service
Assist with receiving, storage, and inventory organization when needed
Kitchen Supervisor Responsibilities
Lead kitchen operations during service
Ensure staff follow recipes, standards, and kitchen systems
Support training and development of cooks and prep staff
Help manage prep lists, station setup, and service flow
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and team accountability
Assist chefs with inventory, ordering, and daily operations
Requirements
Line Cook Candidates
Minimum 2 years experience in a busy restaurant kitchen
Strong understanding of station organization and multitasking
Experience with high-volume service preferred
Supervisor Candidates
Minimum 4 years experience in fast-paced kitchens
Leadership and team management experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
Passion for food and hospitality
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Reliable and punctual
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience with Mexican cuisine and spanish is an asset, but not required
