Overview
We are seeking a motivated Roofer Helper to join our construction team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building trades and looking to gain hands-on experience in roofing projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, eager to learn, and capable of working safely alongside experienced roofers. Prior construction or handyman experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This role involves assisting with various roofing tasks, supporting the team in completing projects efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist roofers with installing, repairing, and replacing roofing materials
- Handle and operate hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws
- Support heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to ensure smooth workflow
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to assist with precise installation
- Perform basic carpentry tasks related to roofing projects, including cutting and fitting materials
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
Qualifications
- Prior construction or handyman experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry, and blueprint reading is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred

Pay: $20.98-$42.44 per hour
