Department overview
This position resides in the Donor Relations & Marketing department, which is responsible for raising funds in support of our organizational Community Impact goals. This is achieved primarily through the annual workplace campaign where hundreds of organizations fundraise on behalf of United Way Greater Toronto.
How you will make a difference:
As part of the 2026 Corporate Campaign Representative Team, Corporate Campaign Representatives will provide support to United Way Greater Toronto workplace campaigns during the fall fundraising campaign. Corporate Campaign Representatives will work both remotely and in-person, in response to the needs of the workplace campaigns they support.
Corporate Campaign Representatives work under the management of a professional United Way fundraiser to:
- Support workplace volunteers and United Way staff in the planning and execution of employee workplace campaigns as required
- Develop relationships with and provide excellent customer service to workplace volunteers
- Attend campaign meetings and events as required, in-person and remotely
- Coordinate delivery and collection of campaign materials, supplies and monies
- Coordinate and/or facilitate delivery of training, speeches and presentations to workplace volunteers and employees, in-person and remotely
- Support United Way community and third-party events through handling inquiries and supporting participant registration
- Track campaign progress and identify challenges and solutions with guidance from United Way staff
- Ensure workplaces and volunteers receive appropriate recognition
- Support UWGT Signature events
- Complete weekly stewardship donor calls to follow up on donations
- Complete a detailed final report on all assigned United Way workplace campaigns
What you bring to the role:
- Confident, adaptable, and flexible with a “can do” attitude
- Skilled in utilizing Office 365 and facilitation using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, Teams and other platforms as required
- A problem solver who thrives working independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to actively contribute to the organizational Reconciliation and Equity framework through participation in learning opportunities and implementing anti-oppressive, and anti-racist learnings into action internally and externally

Additional information:
Corporate Campaign Representatives should be aware of the time commitment and expectations:
- Training and onboarding will be provided during the first two weeks of the program.
- For the duration of the 21-week program — September 2, 2026, to January 29th, 2027 — Corporate Campaign Representatives will work both remotely and in-person, in response to the needs of the workplace campaigns they support.
- Employees will be engaged on a full-time basis.
- Corporate Campaign Representatives report to a United Way fundraising manager.
