InStyle Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Administrator to join our dental practice and contribute to providing excellent patient care. As a Dental Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office by managing administrative tasks and supporting the dental team. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of dental providers' time
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in electronic dental software
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
- Assist with treatment planning, including presenting treatment options and associated costs to patients
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the dental team to support efficient workflow and patient care delivery
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a dental administrator
- Experience with Dentrix software is an asset, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy in record keeping and administrative tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills
