Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home and facility-based care in. The ideal candidate will support individuals with daily activities, promote independence, and enhance quality of life through personalized care. This role requires a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to handle diverse caregiving responsibilities with professionalism and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting and transferring to ensure safety and comfort
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams
- Support individuals with dementia, disabilities, or hospice needs with patience and understanding
Experience
- Assisted living experience or nursing home background preferred
- Prior experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in home care settings highly desirable
- Familiarity with dementia care, hospice care, or working with patients requiring specialized attention is a plus
- Demonstrated caregiving skills including medication administration, meal preparation, and patient mobility support
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
Pay: $19.50-$23.00 per hour
