Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage cashiering responsibilities, including processing payments and giving change
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to ensure food safety standards are met
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
- Support guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures consistently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and service flow
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or hospitality environments is a plus
- Effective communication skills for guest interactions and team coordination
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
