Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications, quality standards, and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (router, mill, lathe, or machining center)
- Load raw materials and secure workpieces properly
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Input or load CNC programs and adjust machine settings as needed
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain production records and documentation
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–3+ years of CNC machine operation experience (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, metal fabrication, or cabinetry (as applicable)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming basics (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of measuring tools and quality inspection processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
