Short-Term Rental Turnover Cleaner (Contractor) — St. John’s, NL
We’re hiring a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to complete turnovers for our short-term rental homes in St. John’s. This is a contractor role for someone who takes pride in hotel-level cleanliness, works efficiently on a schedule, and follows a checklist every time. We run a structured operation with clear standards, strong communication, and consistent work for top performers.
What you’ll do
- Complete full turnover cleans between guest stays (bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas)
- Reset the home to guest-ready standards: beds made, linens staged, surfaces sanitized, floors spotless
- Restock essentials (provided) and ensure the home is organized and presentation-ready
- Handle laundry/linen turnover as assigned (we provide linens and supplies)
- Report damages, missing items, and maintenance issues promptly
- Follow our cleaning checklist and quality standards to ensure consistency
What we’re looking for
- Cleaning experience (STR, hotel, or residential preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and a professional, guest-focused mindset
- Comfortable with physical work (stairs, lifting, standing)
- Reliable transportation to travel to properties in/around St. John’s
Quality & process
- Paid trial clean required (to confirm fit and standards)
- Quality checks are part of our process—consistency matters
