LAW FIRM RECEPTIONIST / OFFICE ASSISTANT
We are a busy law firm in Duncan seeking a part time receptionist/office assistant to join our team. The ideal applicant will have experience in an office or professional environment, a firm understanding of confidentiality and a willingness to learn and work both as a team and independently.
While this is an entry level position, there is room for growth and development within the organization.
Compensation: $24/hr+, based on experience and qualifications

Hours: Part Time 10:00-2:00 - Monday to Friday
Location: Duncan, BC
Duties / Tasks
- Reviewing incoming mail and communications
- Receiving, directing and handling incoming calls
- Preparing and processing outgoing mail and documents
- Arranging for courier or other delivery
- Assist lawyer(s) in drafting and formatting correspondence, legal documents and office memorandum
- Assisting with basic corporate procedures(preparation and filing annual returns, dividends, etc).
- Other duties as may be reasonably required
Skills / Knowledge
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft office
- Attention to detail and accurate word processing, spelling, proofreading and editing
- Good time management, organization and multitasking skills
- High level of confidentiality and discretion
