SCS Manufacturing, Inc., a division of The Hazelwood Group, is seeking a full-time Labourer - Production Support to join our team of hard-working, dedicated staff at our production facility in South Nanaimo, BC.

Compensation
- $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience and education.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and work environment
- Assist with material handling, including loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials and finished products
- Support production teams with daily tasks, part preparation, cleanup, and general shop assistance
- Assist with order picking, shipping preparation, stacking, wrapping, and material verification
- Organize inventory, storage areas, scrap materials, and production supplies
- Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as qualified
- Perform basic equipment cleaning and routine maintenance tasks
- Assist with coating preparation, stenciling, and other production support activities after training
- Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and maintain awareness of active shop hazards
- Take initiative, ask questions, and support additional tasks as required to keep operations running efficiently
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of experience working as a labourer in a warehouse/shipping environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- WHMIS certification.
- Forklift operator's license will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in operating manual and electric pallet trucks.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques.
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them strictly.
- Other duties as required.

This is a full-time position.
