Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team in delivering delicious, high-quality pizzas to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service skills and background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on maintaining food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as needed
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, following proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- A passion for cooking and providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
