Logistics Dispatcher – Rose Valley, SK
ProSoils is seeking an experienced Logistics Dispatcher to join our team based in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan. This is a key operational role responsible for dispatching drivers, coordinating loads, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of agricultural products across our operations.
The successful candidate will play an important role during our busy fall ammonia season, while supporting year-round transportation of grain, fertilizer, propane, and other agricultural products. This position requires someone who is highly organized, communicates effectively, and can make quick decisions in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate daily transportation schedules and load assignments.
- Coordinate the movement and delivery of anhydrous ammonia during the busy fall application season.
- Schedule transportation of grain, fertilizer, propane, and other agricultural products.
- Provide drivers with clear instructions regarding loads, delivery locations, timing, and operational requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers throughout the day and adjust schedules as conditions change.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, farm managers, and operations teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor driver and equipment availability to maximize transportation efficiency.
- Respond quickly to delays, breakdowns, weather conditions, customer changes, and other transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, shipping documents, load information, and transportation documentation.
- Assist with tracking driver hours and ensuring transportation activities comply with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Promote safe transportation practices and ensure company safety procedures are followed.
- Identify opportunities to improve routing, equipment utilization, scheduling, and overall transportation efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatch, trucking, transportation, logistics, or agricultural operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to coordinate multiple drivers and loads simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with drivers, customers, suppliers, and operations teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly when schedules or operational requirements change.
- Experience with agricultural commodities, fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, propane, or grain transportation is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Saskatchewan trucking and transportation regulations, including Hours of Service requirements, is an asset.
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, GPS/navigation systems, and dispatch or transportation management software.
- Agricultural or rural transportation experience is considered an asset.
