True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a highly organized and relationship-focused Development & Donor Relations Coordinator to join our True North Youth Foundation.
This role plays an important part in strengthening donor relationships, maintaining accurate fundraising records, supporting campaigns and grant activities, and helping deliver meaningful community and volunteer experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and passionate about building strong relationships while supporting organizational growth and impact.
What to be excited for in this role:
Donor Relations & Stewardship

Support donor engagement and stewardship activities to help foster meaningful and lasting relationships.

Assist with donor communications, acknowledgements, impact reporting, and appreciation initiatives.

Provide professional and responsive support to donors and community stakeholders.

Process donations and maintain accurate records, receipts, and acknowledgements.
-
Assist with donor cultivation and fundraising events.
Data & CRM Administration

Maintain and update donor and fundraising records within CRM systems.

Support data integrity, reporting, and ongoing system improvements.

Assist team members with CRM usage and standardized processes.
-
Generate reports, dashboards, and insights to support fundraising and engagement strategies.

Support data imports/exports and campaign tracking across multiple platforms.

Help identify donor trends, engagement opportunities, and re-engagement strategies.
Volunteer Coordination
-
Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and engagement.

Maintain volunteer records, hours, and communications.
-
Support volunteer training, recognition, and retention initiatives.

Coordinate volunteer participation in organizational and community programs.

Help evaluate and improve volunteer processes and experiences.
Fundraising & Administrative Support

Support annual fundraising campaigns, sponsorship initiatives, and grant activities.

Assist with grant applications, reporting, and funding documentation.

Maintain fundraising calendars, tracking systems, and related administrative records.

Support financial tracking and reconciliation related to donations and fundraising activities.

Assist with special events, donor hospitality, and campaign execution.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
What we need from you:

Postsecondary education in fundraising, nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or a related field is considered an asset.

Experience in fundraising, donor relations, administration, customer service, or volunteer coordination preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working with CRM or donor database systems is an asset.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related digital tools.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Valid class 5 driver’s license and access to vehicle (some local and provincial driving required).
