Lead Banquet Server

The Lead Banquet Server is hospitable, friendly, and outgoing with a focus on guest service. Along with serving, successful candidates will be expected to provide leadership support to the Conference Services and Banquet Manager.
This position offers 4–5 shifts per week and requires open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and execute events as described in a BEO
- Previous banquet serving experience required, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Prior leadership experience required
- Strong serving skills and ability to create engaging and memorable guest experiences that will leave them planning their return visit with us.
- Team player who proactively looks for ways to enhance the level of service and ways to support other team members
- Proven warm and sincere verbal communication skills.
- Effective communication capabilities demonstrating sound judgment.
- Ability to respond to questions from guests offering appropriate options or resolutions.
- Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Assists with clean-up after a function including miscellaneous items remaining in an event area at conclusion of events.
- Capable to assist with closing bills at the end of the event.
- Bartender experience and wine knowledge.
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holiday.
Physical Aspects of Position:
- Continuous walking, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
- Use of cleaning machines and solutions will be required

Pay: $20.51 per hour
