We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part-Time Clinic Patient Coordinator / Front Desk Billing and Invoicing Clerk to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with billing and invoicing duties, ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate record-keeping, and efficient financial processes. As a key point of contact for patients and staff alike, you will foster a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks that keep our clinic running seamlessly. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using electronic medical records systems.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating demographic information and documenting visits in electronic medical records platforms such as Epic or Dentrix.
- Handle billing processes by generating invoices, submitting claims, and following up on outstanding payments with precision and professionalism.
- Process payments, prepare receipts, and ensure all billing activities comply with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize clinic flow while accommodating patient needs.
- Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence to ensure an organized front desk environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting with strong familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Epic or Dentrix.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental or healthcare environments.
- Prior experience in billing, invoicing, or financial reconciliation within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information and financial transactions.
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and appointment scheduling.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
