We are seeking an experienced, collaborative and energetic individual to lead our Development Team. The individual is responsible for planning and implementation of a development strategy that is aligned with the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth’s mission, vision and values.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, including capital campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation partnerships and events. The successful individual serves as an integral part of the Leadership Team while leading, coaching and mentoring their Development Team.
Our ideal candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated and be a strong relationship builder. You will have the proven ability of building a portfolio of prospective donors resulting in new revenue and have demonstrated success in securing multi-year financial gifts.
What you will be doing……
· Developing and overseeing a strategic Development plan
· Develops, implements and monitors a coordinated, donor-centred annual operating fundraising program which includes: Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Events/Sponsorships, Grants, Stewardship Program
· Leading, coaching and mentoring a Development Team of staff and volunteers
