Restoration / Rebuild Technician – Water & Fire Damage
EPIC Restoration Services is looking for experienced Construction & Restoration Technicians to join our team.
We’re a busy, growing restoration company serving the Lower Mainland, specializing in water and fire damage restoration. Our in-house technicians handle the rebuild from start to finish, working on homes, condos, commercial properties, and strata buildings.
If you’re an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in your work, can work independently, and knows how to get a job done properly, we want to hear from you.
The Work
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of construction and repair work, including:
- Drywall installation, repairs, taping, mudding, texture, and finishing.
- Rough and finish carpentry.
- Framing and minor structural repairs.
- Insulation installation.
- Flooring installation and repairs.
- Baseboards, trim, doors, cabinets, and millwork.
- Interior painting and finishing.
- General repairs and reconstruction following water and fire losses.
- Reading and working from scopes of work, drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Identifying additional work or issues and communicating them to the Project Manager.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Working directly in customers’ homes and occupied properties.
Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years of construction, renovation, or restoration experience.
- Strong hands-on skills in drywall, carpentry, finishing, flooring, painting, or general renovations.
- Someone who can do the work — not just supervise it.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
- Comfortable reading drawings, scopes, and work orders.
- Able to take measurements and perform basic construction calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to getting the job done right.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Professional when dealing with homeowners, tenants, property managers, and other trades.
- Valid Class 5 BC driver's licence with a good driving record.
- Able to safely lift and handle construction materials and equipment.
Red Seal certification and IICRC training/certification are assets, but strong hands-on construction experience is what matters most.
What EPIC Offers
- $28–$38+ per hour based on experience and skill.
- Full-time, permanent, year-round employment.
- Overtime opportunities.
- Company vehicle and gas card, where applicable.
- Company tools and equipment.
- Company phone, where applicable.
- A variety of residential, commercial, and strata projects.

Important
This is not a general labour position.
We’re looking for a skilled tradesperson who can take a scope of work, understand what needs to be done, and complete quality repairs with minimal supervision.
Restoration experience is an asset, but experienced carpenters, drywallers, finishers, painters, flooring installers, and renovation professionals are encouraged to apply.
Some evening, weekend, or after-hours work may be required depending on project requirements.
If you’re looking for steady work, a variety of projects, and an opportunity to grow with an established restoration company, apply today.
