Our collaborative project team is seeking a Operations Coordinator for commissioning activities at an exciting project in Delta, BC.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Controlling physical access to areas controlled by the EPCM commissioning team, granting or denying access and confirming appropriate flagging and signage is applied
- Coordinating work activities within areas controlled by the EPCM commissioning team, issuing work authorizations and acting as lockout authority
- Confirming that initial equipment energization is communicated to others in advance of the energization and is performed in a safe and controlled manner
- Coordinating the execution Dry (No-Load) Commissioning procedures with the Contractors.
- Coordinating the execution Wet (Load) Commissioning procedures with Westshore and Contractors. (Train scheduling, vessel scheduling and loading are Westshore responsibilities)
- Reviewing and providing the Engineers of Record (EoRs) with completed commissioning procedures for approval
- Performing LOTO coordinator activities during Dry (No-Load) Commissioning
Here's what you'll need
- High School Diploma
- Electrician or electrical engineering background
- 10+ years of experience in commissioning involving multiple phases of large-scale buildings/rehabilitation projects
- Experience as Lockout Authority
- Ideally have previous work at a materials handling or industrial facility

Posted Salary Range: Minimum
110,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
160,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $160,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
