Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to enhance the dining experience
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision
- Prepare simple food items as needed, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained at all times
- Manage cash register operations by handling cash handling tasks, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing excellent customer service and personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling stations in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Experience using POS systems such as Toast / Clover or similar platforms for order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Willingness to learn new skills such as food preparation techniques or upselling strategies

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
