Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, carpentry, and related construction skills. This role involves working on residential, commercial, or restoration projects, utilizing various hand and power tools to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. This position will provide flights and accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as required for various projects
- Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as lifting, moving materials, or concrete placement
- Install siding, perform restoration work, and handle other exterior or interior carpentry tasks
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Measure materials accurately and cut wood or other materials to specifications using woodworking tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and woodworking techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of siding installation and restoration processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform demanding labor over extended periods
- Prior construction experience is highly preferred; certifications in heavy equipment operation or welding are a plus

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
