Join a growing industrial manufacturing team in the Hamilton-Stoney Creek area as a Technical Inside Sales Representative.
You will manage customer quote requests, review technical specifications for corrugated metal braided hoses, and collaborate with production to deliver accurate project solutions.
The Opportunity
- Location: Stoney Creek/Hamilton, ON (On-site)
- Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
- Monthly Commission: After 6 months

- Key Responsibilities
- Technical Product Selection: Assist clients in selecting the correct corrugated metal braided hoses, fittings, and assemblies based on pressure, temperature, and media requirements.
- Quote Management: Prepare, review, and follow up on technical and commercial quotations using company ERP/CRM systems.
- Blueprint Analysis: Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with the engineering and production workshops to validate custom project feasibility.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, trouble-shoot product applications, and close sales.
- Order Processing: Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through order entry, tracking, and post-sales support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of technical inside sales or customer service experience, ideally within industrial hoses, fluid transfer solutions, or steel/metal distribution.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ERP/CRM software.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
