We handle T-bar suspended ceilings, acoustic panels, wood and metal ceilings, structural grid systems, and high-end commercial projects including data centers, malls, and institutional work. We take pride in quality workmanship, clean jobsites, and getting the job done right — often with smaller, efficient crews.
The Opportunity
We are looking for skilled, self-reliant Acoustic Ceiling / T-Bar Installers who can show up, read the prints, lay out the job, and build the ceiling — often working independently when required.
If you’re an experienced ceiling installer who owns your own tools, has a reliable vehicle, and takes pride in doing quality work with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you. We have steady work available and are flexible with full-time or part-time hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install T-bar ceiling grids, acoustic tiles, panels, and related systems to a high standard
- Read blueprints and schematics, then independently measure, lay out, and complete installations
- Work solo on job sites when needed (or as part of a small crew on larger projects)
- Perform precise cutting, assembly, and finishing work
- Handle minor restoration and repair work on existing ceiling systems
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety protocols and WorkSafeBC requirements
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Solid experience installing T-bar / suspended ceilings and acoustic systems (commercial or residential)
- Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings independently
- Must have your own reliable vehicle for daily travel to job sites
- Must own and maintain your own professional tools for ceiling installation work
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with structural grid systems, specialty wood/metal ceilings, or data center work
- Previous restoration or finishing experience
