We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles across designated routes
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Manage freight documentation, including delivery logs and shipping paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Operate heavy equipment responsibly when required for loading or unloading cargo
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and managing freight loads
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Proven experience in commercial driving or logistics preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to safety protocols
Pay: $48,269.22-$299,316.97 per year
