Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Warehouse & Logistics Associate to support daily warehouse operations and logistics coordination.
This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, freight coordination, and communication with third-party logistics providers. The successful candidate will help ensure that inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
This position requires strong organizational skills, practical warehouse experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and support day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
- Coordinate the accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify incoming products against packing slips, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and other required paperwork
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with couriers, carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners
- Work closely with 3PL warehouses to coordinate inbound receipts, order fulfillment, inventory transfers, and outbound shipments
- Track shipment progress and proactively communicate status updates, delays, delivery exceptions, and required follow-up actions
- Provide timely shipment updates to internal stakeholders and customers through final delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts, physical counts, variance investigations, and inventory reconciliation
- Monitor order accuracy, shipping performance, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, workflow efficiency, shipping accuracy, and cost control
- Review freight and shipping charges and assist with basic cost comparisons and analysis
- Support the handling and resolution of damaged, missing, delayed, or incorrectly shipped products
- Coordinate inventory transfers and inter-warehouse shipments between company and third-party locations
- Maintain organized warehouse areas and ensure products are stored safely and efficiently
- Follow and reinforce company health and safety procedures, quality standards, and warehouse operating practices
- Support and guide junior warehouse team members when required
- Assist with warehouse projects, process improvements, and operational reporting
- Travel occasionally to other warehouse locations to support inventory, shipping, receiving, or operational requirements
- Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or a related role
- Strong hands-on experience with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management
- Experience coordinating with couriers, freight carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers
- Familiarity with bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, purchase orders, and freight documentation
- Experience supporting cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance investigations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing operational requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with warehouse, operations, sales, finance, and customer service teams
- Comfortable using inventory management systems, warehouse systems, Microsoft Excel, and other business software
- Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, moving, and handling products as required
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is considered an asset
- Previous experience in the powersports, automotive, parts distribution, consumer products, or wholesale distribution industry is considered an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally between warehouse locations, as required
