Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair styling services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments
- Provide skincare treatments such as facials, waxing, and other esthetician services
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable services and products
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as an Esthetician or Hairdresser/Stylist
- Proven experience in hair styling and skincare treatments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and promote retail sales effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus
